Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 March 2026

These terms apply when you use the Laconias website and when you place a pre-order with us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms — please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Laconias is a UK-based leather-goods brand offering premium leather bags by pre-order. When we say “we” or “us” in these terms, we mean Laconias.

2. Pre-Order Model

Every item on our website is available by pre-order. This means once your order is confirmed, we prepare the piece specifically for you. Typical preparation and delivery time is 2–4 weeks, though some pieces may take longer.

We will contact you within 24 hours of placing your order to confirm details and arrange payment.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are in GBP (£) and include applicable UK taxes. Prices may change at any time without notice, but changes will never affect an order that has already been confirmed.

4. Delivery

We deliver only within the United Kingdom. Standard UK delivery is free and uses a tracked courier. See our Delivery Information page for details.

5. Returns & Refunds

You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags attached. Bespoke or custom-made pieces from the Private Collection are not eligible for return. See our Returns & Refunds page for full details.

6. Product Descriptions

Because leather is a natural material, small differences in colour, grain, and surface markings between items are expected and are not considered defects. See our Materials & Care page for more.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the website (photographs, product designs, text, branding, the “Laconias” name and logo) belongs to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without our written permission.

8. Your Account & Communications

We communicate about orders and enquiries by email, WhatsApp, or phone — whichever contact detail you provide. Please keep them accurate.

9. Limits of Liability

We aim to make our website and products the best they can be, but we can't guarantee the website will always be available or completely error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website — though nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights under UK law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally — the “last updated” date at the top tells you when. Orders placed before an update are covered by the terms that were in force at the time.
